PEACE PLAN
Our peace plan, “World Peace Now and
Forever”, was presented to The United
Nations Special Session on Disarmament III in 1988. It is given to you as part of your completed
Membership. The plan was copyrighted in
1971 and then circulated to a number of world leaders.
We are open to support a better
peace plan if one is known or developed.
Our poem, A
Happier Place, briefly describes the plan and is in our collection of selected
poems, called Peace and Progress. All paid-up
Members also receive our poem, Ode to A Better World, which describes our peace
plan in even greater detail and is also included in Peace and Progress. In addition, it is recited with a musical
background in one of our recordings.
Printed below are
our poem, A Happier Place and the lyrics of our song, World Peace Now and
Forever.
The key to peace is to make violence |
This unique form of instant
disarmament |
And war impossible to pursue. |
Will soon show |
That is one obvious answer |
World-wide reduction |
Worth trying to do. |
In arms trade and weapons
flow. |
But the question remains, |
To see all the ways |
How to make it be |
Peace will prevail, |
So that all are finally free |
One should look at the plan |
To enjoy peace, progress and
prosperity. |
In full detail. |
The World Peace Now and Forever
plan |
Military strength, finally
divorced |
Sets the stage |
From political and economic
policy, |
For a peace that could hold |
Can no longer substitute |
In the coming age. |
For diplomacy. |
One World Peace Corporation |
By limiting leaders’, states’ and
individuals’ Ability to wield |
Merges the bulk of each member
state's |
Armaments and fire-power in the
field, |
Military might |
Fewer can be bullied or
oppressed. |
Together under joint control and
sight. |
Eventually, most military forces will be compressed |
The new multi-nation force |
Into one world-wide peace-keeping force |
Is then confined to one main
track, |
That is owned by all and carries the ball |
Protecting members' pre-agreed
boundaries |
For the kind of world we want to face – |
Against outside attack. |
a more beautiful, safer and happier place. |
And if this plan doesn't fit the bill |
No member nation will be able to
pursue |
Lets find a better one that will. |
Armed aggression or war as before. |
And yet each immediately gains |
More defenses at less expense. |
